It is a not just a story, but a journey of professed innocence, a testament to the endurance of a wronged soul and salvation most profound found from within thick, guarded, unnecessary walls in which it was penned. I fell in love with this book and with Damien’s mind stoyr immediately. He was me at that age. Couldn’t put it down. I realized that I am just 4 years older than Damien, so as I read this book, I reflected on where I was and what my life was like damieh the same time frame as he is describing his childhood and teen years.
